This past weekend I took some photos of a great family...this is my second time shooting them and it again, was such a blast! These are just a couple of sneak peeks of their bluebonnet shoot. Enjoy!

First Blog Entry

Hello Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to check out the Ethan Avery Photography Blog. This past weekend was full of bluebonnet photo sessions for my friends and family and I would love for others to learn more about my photography, my designs and how it all started.


Well my name is Andrea and I am the photographer/designer/crocheted hat maker and everything else here at Ethan Avery Photography. When I was searching for a name for my business a lot of different possibilites where thought up and just as quickly, discarded. I wanted to get away from the standard Insert first and last name here.com photography name. I already had a daughter whom I named Avery but it was when I had my second child, Ethan, the name was in-a-sense "Born." They are the joy in my world and are the best parts of my day. I wanted to translate the two things that make me truly happy into my passion for photography. Having a business I love, named after the two greatest loves in my life is a win-win in my book!

So that is just a little bit about the meaning behind the name. On a future post I will go into my background, my skill set and how I got to where I am now. Thank you so much for reading this post. Stay tuned for more to come!!
